Jennifer Philp

Jennifer Philp has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, with majors in International Comparative Studies, French Studies and Cultural Anthropology. She earned her Master of Public Health in Health Promotion Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center’s College of Public Health.

Her professional experience, focused on health and wellness education, programs, services and advocacy, has included serving as a Clinical Programs Manager for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as a Research Assistant with the OU Prevention Research Center, as an International Programs Intern with World Neighbors and as an Educational Programs Coordinator with the American Red Cross.

A native of Tulsa, her civic involvement has spanned many years and interests. She has volunteered in a variety of capacities in organizations such as Scouts BSA, Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.), Tulsa Global Alliance, Tulsa Sister Cities, Leadership Tulsa, Alliance Française de Tulsa, Resonance Center for Women, Oxley Nature Center, Tulsa City-County Library and the former Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa. Additionally, she is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, where she has sung in the Chancel Choir, volunteered in the Children’s Ministry, chaired congregation communal events, and participated in pastoral search and spiritual formation committees.

As a public health proponent who has utilized social and behavioral sciences, educational strategies and techniques in developing and implementing programs, Jennifer recognizes the significance of these tools for encouraging and influencing growth and positive change. As a daughter, sister, mother and wife, she has first-hand knowledge of both the challenges and joys of living in close relationship with others. She feels privileged to be able to apply her professional and personal experiences in supporting the work of the Stonebridge Couples Therapy team as they serve individuals and couples committed to seeking and living their best lives.
